PARÁ, BRAZIL — From Sept. 14 to 18, the Federal Police, with support from the Pará State Military Police, conducted an enforcement operation in the Munduruku Indigenous Territory to inspect sites identified as suspected locations of illegal mining activity.

During the operation, two dredges, one hydraulic excavator, two engines, diesel fuel containers and support structures for the illicit activity were rendered unusable.
