Retired Ana Maria is an illustrious figure of Boi Caprichoso from the city of Parintins, in the interior of Amazonas.
Her residence is painted and full of objects in blue and white colors, which attract the attention of those who live or visit Tupinambarana Island, during the Folklore Festival period.
"I've always liked the color blue and I like doing my things in blue," said retiree Ana Maria.
"I don't like red tomatoes coming into my house, because I'm in charge here," said Ana.
"I love the color blue, that's why I put the phrase 'Champion or not, you're an eternal passion' on the wall, my Caprichoso, declared retired Ana.
Blue and white are the colors that represent the Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso.
The 57th Parintins Folk Festival 2024 takes place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June.
