UN bodies and the federal government have carried out various actions to welcome and regularise Venezuelans who have left their country in search of a new life in Brazil. Many were able to apply for temporary residence or recognition of their refugee status in Brazil, as well as other documents such as issuing CPFs and registering for the federal government's internalisation strategy. Other services were offered by the International Organisation for Migration, IOM, which is part of the United Nations system as the main intergovernmental organisation promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. The IOM has been present in Brazil since 2016. The work presented in the video was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic.
