MANAUS, BRAZIL - Feira do Mel - Flor do Amazonas is, for the second time, among the best honey-producing companies in Brazil. The certification took place during a competition promoted by the 2026 Brazilian Congress of Beekeeping and Meliponiculture (CONBRAPI), held in May in the city of Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina, in the south of the country. The product has been gaining recognition for its quality in recent years and highlights the strength of beekeeping and meliponiculture developed in the state.

“In 2023, we won first place in the best honey competition of the Brazilian Congress of Beekeeping and Meliponiculture (CONBRAPI), which brings together producers from all over the country. Now, in 2026, we returned to this same congress more confident and once again climbed onto the podium. It was very rewarding, especially with the achievement of second place in a competition that featured more than 400 honey samples from 23 different states. For us, reaching the podium while bringing honey from Amazonas was something very special and truly gratifying.”

The agro-industry also produces other honey-derived products and has become a specialist in the sector. The company is now working toward the goal of exporting its products to other countries.
