Six funerary urns that could be more than a thousand years old were found among several others during an earthwork in the city of Manaus, capital of the Amazonas state. 22 years ago, in an area that was being prepared for housing, an archaeological site that contained 200 urns was discovered. Now, 2,500 families help to preserve the pieces found over the years.
