MANAUS, BRAZIL - A bull that was being loaded onto a boat for transport escaped during an embarkation operation at an improvised port in Anori, a town in the interior of Brazil’s Amazonas state, and chased workers and residents who were at the site. The incident was captured by security cameras.
The case occurred on Saturday (June 6) in a temporary port area operating at an alternative location due to high river levels. According to witness accounts, the animal broke free from the vessel while it was being guided for transport.
During attempts to contain the bull, residents and workers who were watching the operation approached and provoked the animal, which then chased the group and knocked over several motorcycles.
Despite the panic and commotion recorded at the scene, the bull was eventually restrained and taken to a safe area. No serious injuries were reported, and the animal’s owner pledged to compensate for the damages caused during the escape.
