Five members of the Caipira na Roça gang, from Manaus (AM), were removed from the Hospital Regional Sul Ottomar de Sousa Pinto to receive medical care in Boa Vista.
They were injured in a bus accident this Sunday (9), on BR-174, in Rorainópolis.
Among the five injured is a child, according to the State Department of Health (Sesau).
She will be treated at Hospital Santo Antônio.
The vehicle had 44 passengers and two drivers at the time of the accident. There were no deaths.
According to the ministry, two of the injured must remain hospitalized in Rorainópolis hospital and 12 are under observation in the same location.
Sesau reinforced that it must maintain a care task force until all injured people are medically discharged.
The group performed as a guest gang on the last night of Boa Vista Junina — a festival in the capital, this Saturday (8), and was returning to Amazonas when the bus overturned on the highway.
The bus was traveling to Manaus when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned on the side of the highway.
Most of the members had minor injuries.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF), Military Police, Fire Department and the Mobile Emergency Care Service were at the scene of the accident. The PRF Traffic Accident Report will be completed in 5 days.
