Federal agents carry out the largest operation against illegal mining in the state of Pará-Brazil, destroying machinery and dredges in the Tapajós Environmental Preservation Area. Nine helicopters were used to identify the areas that were being degraded. Ibama, ICMBio, the Federal Police, the Federal Highway Police and the National Force took part in the operation.
