MANAUS, BRAZIL — With more than two decades of experience, photographers Raphael Alves and Michael Dantas have documented major floods and periods of drought in the Amazon, observing changes that go beyond river levels. The transformations are also reflected in the landscape, the daily lives of communities and access to more remote areas.
