MANAUS, BRAZIL — A group of tourists filmed a sloth swimming in a river during a boat tour through Anavilhanas National Park in the municipality of Novo Airão, in Brazil’s Amazonas state. Surprised to see the animal in the water, they recorded the scene on video.

The footage shows the sloth swimming with coordinated movements as it crosses the river to reach the opposite bank.
