A young man, 18 years old, crashed his car into the wall of a house in the Pricumã neighborhood, west of Boa Vista on Sunday (17).
He was accompanied by a 16-year-old teenager.
The two tried to flee the scene, but were detained by an off-duty police officer.
Security cameras recorded the moment of the accident.
The car was speeding, lost control and crashed into the gate and wall of the residence.
The two young people were filmed running and fleeing the scene.
According to the Military Police, who responded to the incident, an off-duty lieutenant of the force approached the two.
He witnessed the accident and managed to detain the two two blocks from the house.
The car belongs to the 18-year-old's cousin and, according to the Military Police, she was unaware that he was driving the vehicle.
The young man did not have a National Driver's License (CNH) and was taken to the General Hospital of Roraima (HGR) after complaining of chest pains and bruises.
The driver's mother went to the scene and took responsibility for the vehicle, in addition to saying that she would bear the damages to the house.
