MANAUS, BRAZIL - In an interview with Rede Amazônia Group on Wednesday (27), Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva spoke about concerns regarding the proper exploration of rare earths and critical minerals in the country.
“We are concerned, including about determining the amount of critical minerals and rare earths we have here in Brazil, because this is the issue of the moment. What the world is talking about now is artificial intelligence and rare earths. And we have them. We also need to know how to explore them without causing damage to the environment,” Lula said.
