Located an hour and a half away, with a journey made by boat from Manaus, is the Tumbira Community, which is within the Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS).

One of the main incentives is aimed at the economic activity of sustainable community-based tourism, where local entrepreneurs provide inns to receive visitors, in addition to presenting their handicrafts and Amazonian cuisine.
